Extension table in solid cherry.

The classic lines of this pedestal table were inspired by an antique side table. It is built of solid western curly maple. Like all maple, this is a durable hardwood, with a grain that can be polished smooth. Western curly maple is sometimes highly figured, as it is in this table — it seems to ripple like water. You see a ripple, but when you touch it, it's like running your hand over satin.
